Frequently asked

The five questions owners ask before the first call.

When should a company consider a holding structure?

Usually when a second business line appears, when valuable assets should sit apart from trading risk, or when ownership is about to change. If you are asking the question, a short structure diagnosis will answer it with evidence rather than guesswork.

Do you provide tax planning?

No. We design ownership and governance structures and we do not provide tax opinions or tax schemes. Where your plans have tax consequences, we coordinate with licensed tax advisers and help you brief them.

Who prepares the final legal documents?

We draft working frameworks — articles outlines, decision rules, shareholder agreement skeletons — and your chosen lawyer finalises them. You receive a complete handover brief so nothing is lost between adviser and lawyer.

What does the retainer include?

A scheduled monthly review meeting with written notes, a standing window for time-sensitive questions, and an annual re-assessment of your structure. The fee is a fixed monthly subscription, agreed before you sign up.

How do you handle cross-border businesses?

We work with clients across Europe and describe plainly what each jurisdiction requires. We do not give jurisdiction-specific legal advice; where local filings or opinions are needed, we coordinate with local professionals.
